“Movement is impossible if there is nothing in a state of rest…For if any one of their parts moves, another part must necessarily be at rest”
- Aristotle

The most common running injury is patellofemoral pain syndrome (also known as runner’s knee), followed by iliotibial band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, meniscal injuries of the knee and tibial stress syndrome (shin splints or fractures).  According to some estimates, up to 85% of runners are injured every year, yet there is no commonly accepted Standard for teaching running technique.  TracyPealSpeed has worked with many athletes across a variety of sports - including running, swimming, baseball, basketball, and field hockey - teaching them how to perform sport specific movements so as to not recreate or aggravate their injury and to get back on the field faster, stronger and better.

What are the Benefits of Mastering Sports Biomechanics?

Greater Efficiency – Better use of energy, more stamina

Injury Prevention - Less chance for the errors that lead to injury of the foot, ankle, Achilles, calf, knee, hip & lower back

Confidence – Focus on running form making conditioning, distance & time less relevant

More Speed – Greater angle of deviation which results in less ground contact time
